Alexis
Hospital Manager
My name is Alexis, and I have worked in Veterinary Medicine for roughly 6 years. My love for this field continues to grow the longer I am in it! I started out as a Kennel tech, then receptionist, then Veterinary Assistant, and moved my way up in management along the way. Because of my hands-on background in this field, I not only have a good sense of the managerial aspect of our hospital, but also what goes on behind the scenes, and how to best work with our staff and clients! I love interacting with clients and their fur babies, client education, handling our spicy dogs and kitties that come in, but mostly, being a voice for the technicians and receptionists who work so hard to give your pets the best care possible! I am looking forward to meeting all of our pet-parents, and cannot wait to help continue to grow and improve Companion Animal Hospital!

Delilah
Registered Veterinary Technician, Vet Assistant Supervisor
My name is Delilah. I am a registered veterinary technician. I graduated from UCSC in 2012 with my Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. I am a volunteer with The Marine Mammal Center and have a strong passion for ocean life and conservation. I previously worked at Prescott Animal Hospital in Northern Arizona where I got my start in the veterinary field working with both small and large animals. I have been a part of the Companion Animal Hospital team since February 2013 and very much enjoy working with all species. I currently have at home a python Nefertiti, leopard gecko Dreamer, rat Enzio, and Boxer Mastiff mix Boba to love on. I enjoy furthering my learning about animal anatomy, physiology, and dentistry. I am a foodie at heart and love travelling to new places, especially out of country.

Katelynn
Vet Assistant
My name is Kat and I’ve been a vet assistant for 3 years now! I’ve been at CAH for 4, and have loved each and every pet I’ve met here! I have a strong passion for veterinary medicine and strive to be a large animal vet in the future. I especially love our exotic pets that come to us! I’m currently enrolled in Penn Foster in the Veterinary Assistant program to receive my associate’s degree and certification. I have a schnauzer named Taz and a chunk of a cat named Leonardo DiCatrio, who are my best friends. In my free time (if you can call it that), I enjoy crafts, astronomy, and anything murder mystery! You can usually find me either at work, or on a random, last minute adventure somewhere! If I had a dollar for every time someone said I had the perfect name for my position, I wouldn’t have to work ever again.

Sarah
CSR
My name is Sarah. I am new to the veterinary field and just started as a CSR at Companion Animal Hospital this past February. My favorite part about this role is getting to interact with everyone and witness the bond between people and their pets. I myself have the most spoiled pitbull named Arwen. While I love getting to see all the adorable cats, dogs, and occasional feathered or scaly friends here, my dream job would be to work with cheetahs in some capacity.

CSR
Hi, I’m Kiara. I’m a full-time Receptionist and starting to get trained as a Veterinary Assistant. I am also a student at Cabrillo College. I’m currently going to school for a business degree but am interested in getting vet experience and potentially having a business with animals one day. I’ve loved and worked with animals my whole life and have a pet sitting business. I have two dogs, as well as two snakes, a bearded dragon, and a cat. I aspire to give animals the care they so well deserve!!
